Types of hair

This is a versatile brush suitable for all hair types.

Perfect for touch-ups throughout the day.

Additionally, it detangles children's fine hair effectively and can also be used by those with long beards.

Advantages

Thanks to its handy pocket size, this brush lets you detangle your hair thoroughly at any time of day, whether you're on the train or between appointments.

The brush is specially designed to detangle both wet and dry hair.

The result is simply remarkable: your hair becomes soft, repaired and has a natural shine.

Composition

This piece is the result of French artisanal craftsmanship and embodies a commitment to quality and sustainability. We use beech wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.

We pay particular attention to selecting boar bristles, choosing exclusively the "first cut," which corresponds to the root of the hair. This part is rich in keratin, providing unparalleled care for your hair.

Our Gwen brush measures 14 cm.

Manufacturing

All our brushes are made in France; you can find our dedicated page here.

All orders are prepared and shipped from our workshop in Brittany.

Usage tips

Detangling is a crucial step in caring for your hair. Start by detangling from the ends, gradually working your way up toward the roots.

You can use L'Artisan Brossier brushes on wet hair. We recommend gently detangling wet hair using the method described above and allowing your brush to air dry after use.

Maintenance

To ensure the durability and effectiveness of your boar bristle bag brush, regular maintenance is essential, especially if you use styling products.

First, carefully remove any hair, dandruff and dust particles that accumulate between the boar bristles, using your hands or a comb. Take care not to damage the hairs in the process.

Next, gently wash the brush in lukewarm water, adding a few drops of shampoo, but avoid leaving it to soak in water. Then gently rub the bristles against the palm of your hand, and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

To dry, leave the brush with the bristles facing down to air dry and make sure you don't place it near a heat source.

Finally, after use, store the brush in its cotton bag to preserve it until the next time you use it.
